To size: Minute, less than 1mm. Shell Structure: Thin, fragile, hyaline. Equivalve: Equivalve. Equilateral: Equilateral. Tumidity: Tumid. Outline: Symmetrically oval (higher than long), umbos prominent; dorsal margins very short, straight. Contour: Prodissoconch I, 190μm in diameter, irregularly dimpled; no prodissoconch II apparent.
Sculpture: Sculpture of numerous raised radial striations with a few concentric growth lines and sparse weak concentric threads, slight beading at intersections of radial and concentric threads. Margin: Inner margin smooth. Ligament: Internal, set directly beneath the beaks. Hinge: Hinge plate short with two sets of vertical crenulations, these with denticulate edges and numbering 12-14 in each set. Pallial Musculature: Adductor scars of approximately equal size. Periostracum: Very thin, indistinct. Colour: Transparent white.
