Slightly inequilateral, beaks just in front of midline.

Outline:
Oval. Anterior slightly narrower than posterior.

Umbos very low.
Sculpture:
Smooth with occasional concentric lines.
Margin:
Smooth.
Ligament:
Internal, very small, beneath beaks.
Hinge:
Taxodont but of few very elongate teeth lying almost parallel to the dorsal margins.
Pallial Musculature:
Indistinct.
Periostracum:
Very thin, pale olive.
Colour:
Transparent, glassy with soft parts clearly showing through.
Additional Characters:
Gut loop as a single open coil to the anterior of the left side.
