Morphology
Size
7-17 µm long, 2-3 µm wide (Lange-Bertalot et al. 2011).
Shape
Valves weakly arcuate with convex, slightly undulate dorsal margin and slightly concave, undulate ventral margin.
Symmetry
Dorsiventral, isopolar.
Striae
Striae parallel, 18-22 in 10 µm (Lange-Bertalot et al. 2011).
Raphe
Raphe located mostly on mantle, curving onto valve face close to apices and terminating close to ventral margin.
SEM morphology
One rimoportula located in centre of pole.
7-17 µm long, 2-3 µm wide (Lange-Bertalot et al. 2011).
