Morphology
Size
15-40 µm long, 2-3 µm wide (Lange-Bertalot et al. 2017).
Shape
Narrow linear-lanceolate with slightly protracted rostrate to subcapitate ends.
Symmetry
Isopolar, bilaterally symmetrical.
Striae
Not visible, 46-55 in 10 µm (Lange-Bertalot et al. 2017).
Raphe
Fibulate raphe system at valve margin; fibulae fine, dot-like, more or less regularly spaced; fibulae in valve centre equidistant or sometimes slightly distantly spaced; fibulae 14-19 in 10 µm (Lange-Bertalot et al. 2017).
15-40 µm long, 2-3 µm wide (Lange-Bertalot et al. 2017).
