To size: To 8.3mm. Shell Structure: Thin, fragile. Equilateral: Equilateral. Tumidity: Compressed. Outline: Disc, subcircular, slightly longer than high. Ears small, anterior slightly larger than posterior. Byssus notch absent.
Sculpture: LV with around 35 narrow radial raised lines and a few concentric ridges. Ears with fine radial striae. RV with closely spaced concentric raised lines. Ears with fine radial striae. Interior of valves with 13 radial ribs. Margin: Smooth. Colour: White.
Distribution & Ecology
Known only from the Porcupine Sea Bight at 1600-4900m.
