Remarks
This specimen is from the exact type locality and Tomlin has written ‘type’ on it. In his publication Jordan (1895: 264) states that only one specimen was collected from the “Cold area” Stn 8; 640fms which makes this specimen a holotype by monotypy. At the end of the description states that E. A. Smith informed him that two specimens of this species are in the Natural History Museum collections.
