Pallets not segmented, almost entirely calcareous; Blade broadly oval with a deep thumbnail-like depression that is transversely striated. The posterior slope of the shell is small but set at a sharp angle.

Distribution & Ecology

Recorded from stranded timbers at scattered localities around Britain and Ireland.
