Notes on Nomenclature
Not included in CLEMAM – pelagic vagrant species
Pallets composed of numerous segments on a long stalk, segments cone-shaped. Cones broadly triangular, margins smooth, lateral margins extended into fine short awns.
Distribution & Ecology
A predominantly western Atlantic species only recently discovered in beached timbers on the coasts of the Irish Sea and English Channel.
