To size: To 7mm. Shell Structure: Thin, translucent. Equivalve: Equivalve. Equilateral: Inequilateral, beaks just behind the midline. Tumidity: A little compressed. Outline: Broadly subovate, distinctly longer than high; anterior dorsal margin long, straight, sloping gently; anterior short, rounded; ventral margin long, gently curved; posterior obliquely truncated; posterior dorsal margin long gently curved. Contour: Auricle absent; submarginal sulcus narrow, shallow but distinct; posterior area flattened or weakly sulcate; posterior angle weak.
Sculpture: Smooth with growth lines. Margin: Smooth. Ligament: External but deeply sunken, extending for 1/4 length of submarginal sulcus. Hinge: Hinge plate weak, slightly thickened anterior of beaks. Pallial Musculature: Muscle scars obscure. Periostracum: Obscure. Colour: Shell white. Additional Characters: 2 demibranchs.
