Thin, fragile.

Equilateral:
Subequilateral, beaks a little in front of midline.
Tumidity:
Moderate.
Outline:
Body of shell subovate, umbos prominent, ventral extremity at line through beaks. Anterior evenly rounded and continuous with gently curving ventral margin. Rostrum shorter than body length, rather deep, dorsal margin incurved, ventral margin weakly concave.
Sculpture:
Rostrum set off from body by a narrow carina and with a fine radial ridge close to the dorsal edge. Body with 30-40 evenly spaced concentric, raised lines these crowded and less regular over rostrum.
Margin:
Inner margin smooth.
Ligament:
Internal, small, beneath beaks.
Hinge:
RV with anterior and posterior lateral flanges, LV lacking teeth.
Pallial Musculature:
Obscure.
Colour:
Shell white.
