To size: To 2.0mm. Shell Structure: Fragile, translucent. Equivalve: Equivalve. Equilateral: Equilateral. Tumidity: Inflated. Outline: Oval; lateral margins evenly curved; ventral margin broadly rounded. Ears short slightly projecting. Dorsal margin straight. Dorsal area wide.
Sculpture: Absent except for a single narrow median groove bordered by a pair of riblets. Ligament: In a triangular resilifer on the cardinal area. Hinge: Hinge plate on either side of resilifer smooth. Pallial Musculature: Mostly obscure. Periostracum: Thin, obscure. Colour: White.
Distribution & Ecology
Known only from the type locality at the continental margin of the Porcupine Bight.

Key Features & Similar Species
This little shell closely resembles the juveniles of the leviuscula form of L. gywni.
Additional Comments
The form is identical with juvenile L. gwyni var leviuscula and indicates that if not that species then a juvenile of another Limatula.
