To size: To 5.3mm. Shell Structure: Fragile. Equivalve: Equivalve. Equilateral: Equilateral. Tumidity: Inflated. Outline: Narrowly oval; lateral margins gently curved; ventral margin narrowly rounded. Ears short slightly projecting. Dorsal margin straight. Dorsal area wide.
Sculpture: Of about 38 fine, radial riblets, the 16 central riblets most prominent but median riblets not enlarged. Concentric growth lines creating sharp reticulations at junctions with riblets. Ligament: In a wide triangular resilifer on the cardinal area. Hinge: Hinge plate on either side of resilifer smooth. Pallial Musculature: Mostly obscure. Periostracum: Thin, obscure. Colour: White.
