To size: To 3 mm. Shell Structure: Thin, fragile. Equivalve: Equivalve. Equilateral: Equilateral. Tumidity: Compressed. Outline: Sub-elliptical, anterior dorsal (lunule) margin distinct, concave; anterior broadly rounded; ventral long, gently curved; posterior dorsal shouldered with a short dorsal angled to a longer posterior dorsal slope; posterior obliquely subtruncate.
Sculpture: Primarily of co-marginal lines and growth stops and with microscopic wavy radial striae. Margin: Inner margin smooth. Ligament: Internal, very small on a shallow resilifer below and behind the beaks. Hinge: RV with a prominent cardinal peg anterior of the resilifer; LV with a similar but weaker single cardinal. Pallial Musculature: Obscure. Periostracum: Obscure. Colour: White.
